Har du brug for en rolig eftermiddagsstund, et par timer, hvor du kan trække stikket og fordybe dig i en god bog? Kom og læs med, når Social Reading Club rykker ind i de bløde og hyggelige rammer i Indsigten på Det Kgl. Bibliotek.

Medbring dit eget læsestof, eller lån nogle af de bøger, der står til rådighed i lokalet. Du kan også medbringe noget varmt at drikke, som kan købes i bibliotekets kantine i eller før pausen.

Alle er velkomne, så længe man har lyst til at læse i selskab med andre!

Eftermiddagen består af to læsesessions med en pause imellem. Arrangementet afrundes med en snak om det, man har læst. Her er der mulighed for at møde andre læsere og tale om den bog, man sidder med i hænderne, og de emner, den åbner op for.

Mød op i god tid, og find dig en plads i de bløde omgivelser. Indsigten er et rum, hvor telefonerne gemmes væk – men Social Reading Club holder styr på tiden for dig.

Vi er en gruppe unge litteraturentusiaster fra Aarhus Litteraturcenter, der har et fælles mål om at skabe hyggelige og uforpligtende rammer for sociale læseoplevelser i Aarhus.

Do you need a calm moment in the afternoon, a few hours where you can unplug and immerse yourself with a good book? Read along when Social Reading Club moves into the soft and cozy room “Indsigten” at Royal Danish Library.

Bring your own reading material or borrow one of the books available in the room. You can buy something warm to drink or other refreshments in the cantina before the event or during the break.

Everyone is welcome as long as you want to read together with others!

The afternoon consists of two reading sessions with a break in the middle. At the end of the event the participants will talking about their reading experiences. Here it is possible to meet other readers and to talk about the book you have brought and all the topics it might open up for.

Arrive early to find a good spot in the cozy surroundings. Insigten is a room where phones stay in your pocket – Social Reading Club will keep track of the time for you.
