Læs til sprøde jazztoner, når Social Reading Club afholder læsearrangement med live musik på Naturhistorisk Museum.

Tag en bog under armen, og læs sammen med andre læseglade mennesker, imens jazztrioen skaber en stemningsfuld og lækker lydkulisse til din læsning.

Aftenen består af to læsesessioner med en pause imellem. Arrangementet afrundes med en snak om det, man har læst. Her er der mulighed for at møde andre læsere og tale om den bog, man sidder med i hænderne, og de emner, den åbner op for.

Mød op i god tid, og find et godt spot og en lækker forfriskning. Du er velkommen til at pakke telefonen væk, hvis du har brug for det – Social Reading Club holder styr på tiden for dig.

Hvem står bag musikken?
Jazztrioen består af Jonas Kristiansen på saxofon, Matthias Thorngreen på bas og Anton Kløvgård Rothemejer på guitar. De er tre unge musikere, der kender hinanden fra MGK’s rytmiske linje i Sønderborg og har spillet sammen lige siden. De vil spille en række jazzstandarder, alt lige fra ballader til medium swing, der giver stemning og gode vibes til læsningen.

Hvem er Social Reading Club?
Social Reading Club er en gruppe unge litteraturentusiaster fra Aarhus Litteraturcenter, der har et fælles mål om at skabe hyggelige og uforpligtende rammer for sociale læseoplevelser i Aarhus.

Begivenheden afholdes i samarbejde med Naturhistorisk Museum.

🎶📖Social Reading Club x Naturhistorisk Museum 📖🎶

Read to crispy jazztunes when Social Reading Club is hosting a reading event with live music at Naturhistorisk Museum.

Join as you are with a book or a newspaper under your arm and read with other people who are fond of reading, while a jazz trio creates an atmospheric and jazzy soundscape to your reading.

The evening consists of two reading sessions with a break in the middle. At the end of the event the participants will be talking about what you’ve been reading. Here it is possible to meet other readers and to talk about the book you are reading and the topics it opens up for.

Be here in good time to find a nice spot and something good to drink. You can pack your phone away, if you need – Social Reading Club will keep track of the time for you.

Who are the musicians?
The jazztrio consists of Jonas Kristiansen on saxophone, Matthias Thorngreen on bass, and Anton Kløvgård Rothemejer on guitar. They are three young musicians who know each other from MGK’s rhythmic line in Sønderborg and they have played together ever since. They will play a line of jazz standards, everything from ballads to medium swing, which will create a good vibe for the reading.

Who is the Social Reading Club?
Social Reading Club is a group of young people from Aarhus Litteraturcenter who are passionate about literature and the love of reading, and they want to create a social, cozy, and informal setting for shared reading in Aarhus.

The event is a collaboration with Naturhistorisk Museum.
