Oplev Nelio Biedermann, forfatteren bag romanen ‘Lázár’, til BookTalks den 25. august.
Lázár fortæller historien om en ungarsk adelsslægt op igennem det 20. århundrede. Romanen begynder, da Lajos von Lázár kommer til verden med sine vandblå øjne og gopleagtige hud. Han fødes ind i en svigefuld familie, der har mistet flere medlemmer til skoven udenfor, og forude venter verdenskrige og totalitære regimer, som snart vil få det Europa, slægten kender, til at smuldre.
Den schweiziske forfatter Nelio Biedermann har fået sit internationale gennembrud med ‘Lázár’, en gotisk roman om, hvordan det menneskelige sind formes af tab, traumer og hemmeligheder. Oplev ham i en samtale om romanen til BookTalks.

Meet Nelio Biedermann, the author of the novel ‘Lázár’, at BookTalks 25 August.
‘Lázár’ tells the story of a Hungarian noble family across the 20th century. The novel begins with the birth of Lajos von Lázár, who comes into the world with watery blue eyes and jellyfish-like skin. He is born into a treacherous family that has lost several members to the forest outside, and ahead of them lie world wars and totalitarian regimes that will soon cause the Europe the family knows to crumble.
The Swiss author Nelio Biedermann got his international breakthrough with ‘Lázár’, a gothic novel about how the human mind is shaped by loss, trauma, and secrets. Meet Biedermann in a talk about the novel at BookTalks.
