Oplev islandske Einar Lövdahl, forfatteren bag romanen Gennemtræk, til BookTalks den 22. september.

Gennemtræk fortæller historien om Askur, en ung mand, der på vejen ud til lufthavnen for at hente sin mor, som han ikke har set i årevis, beslutter sig for at vende om og stikke af. I stedet ender Askur med at blaffe sig igennem Island på en rejse, der fremkalder minder fra hans barndom, forældrenes skilsmisse og bruddet med den store ungdomskærlighed. En rejse, der får ham til at tage relationerne i sit liv og den skyld og skam, han bærer rundt på, op til refleksion.

Gennemtræk er Einar Lövdahls romandebut, og du kan opleve ham i en samtale om romanen med forfatter og forelægger Noa Kjærsgaard Hansen.

Efter samtalen inviterer vi til fællesspisning, hvor du kan blive hængende og lade snakken og ikke mindst hyggen fortsætte!

Meet the Icelandic author Einar Lövdahl, the writer behind the novel with the Danish title Gennemtræk, at BookTalks on 22 September.

Gennemtræk tells the story of Askur, a young man who, on his way to the airport to pick up his mother, whom he has not seen for years, suddenly decides to turn back and run away. Instead, he finds himself hitchhiking across Iceland on a journey that brings back memories of his childhood, his parents’ divorce, and the end of his first great love. It is a journey that leads him to reflect on the relationships in his life and the guilt and shame he carries with him.

Gennemtræk is Einar Lövdahl’s debut novel, and you can experience him in a talk about the book with author and publisher Noa Kjærsgaard Hansen.

Following the talk, we invite you to join us for a communal meal, where you can stay on and continue the conversation in good company.
